A buddy and I fished Lady Bird on Sunday the 9th.  We hit the water at 6am sharp, launching from the Holiday Inn ramp.  We headed directly across the lake from the ramp and within 10 minutes had a fish on, it was the first of 15 bass that we would catch for the day.

There were a lot of beds in the shallows with around 3-5 fish sitting on each one, we did not catch any hawgs but they were in there, our largest fish was just under 3lbs.  Fish were caught on a 7 & 5 inch senko wacky rig.

thanks for sharing, curtis. i'm surprised that they are still on beds. were the big girls up on the beds too?

We were using Watermelon with gold fleck the larger fish were not on the beds, I saw them swimming in and out of the root systems of fallen trees in about 8 feet of water.
