Pushed off the dock at first light into a very dirty Lady Bird Lake. Zero wind, 73 degree surface temperature. Fished for two hours exactly.

Seemed like there was life all around, especially in those quick transitions from the creek channel to the grass flats and creek outlets, but whether it was a floating minnow, a popper, or a fluke, zero takes. Day was saved by a single, 20in fish.

1. GP Zoom Christie Craw, texas rigged. Cypress knees. 20 in, and largest since starting to fish LBL after moving to Austin over two months ago.
