Launched the yak at 7am from the Holiday Inn ramp. No one else on the ramp or already fishing. Wind was breezy and cold out of the north, water stained. My phone said 6-8mph, but felt more like 10-12 mph. Spent a lot of time positioning and anchoring. Worked the overhangs and lay downs from the ramp to Waller Creek on the north shore. Was able to land 8 ( personal best for me) on a drop shot and a Childs rig. No takers on shaky head, lipless crank, ned rig and TR worm. Most were cutie pies, but did land 2 keeper size. The best of which is in the picture. Glad I was out, off at 11.
