Had a Dr appointment Downtown so figured I’d hit ladybird afterwards. First time fishing the bird in ‘23. Launched at 4 PM under I-35. Threw senkos, t rigs, spinner baits and chatterbaits and got a few smaller fish 12-15 inches. Switched to a squarebill and it was one biggun after another. Lost track of the number of 18-20 inch fish I caught and 4 over 20 inches including the 23 3/4 kicker. Best day on the water in quite some time. Not surprising given the time of year and full moon. I’ll be out there again as soon as possible.
