I got a late start and launched at 6:30. I started at the dam and quickly got run off by a ski boat. I moved over to the light house and picked up a 4.2lb'er on a drop shot. Nice fish on 8lb test...my drag was buzzing and the rod was bent under the boat. Of course, I was hoping for a bigger one. Once the boat traffic picked up, I have to move again. Picked up another keeper (T-rigged) off of a pier. Both were caught on Green pumpkin Gulp worms. The first time I tried those worms and they are pretty good if you keep them wet. Otherwise, they will dry up in a few minutes.
The wind blew me off the lake at noon.
I'm thinking about hitting Lake Marble Falls for a few hours in the morning.
