Got on the lake around 7:30 am. at Wurtz dam. caught a few around dam on crawfish cranks and flukes. then went to intake and caught a few more on rattlesnakes. fished some main lake points and rock piles and caught a total of 14 fish with the best 5 weighing just over 14 lbs. including a 2lb. smallmouth on a craw colored jig over one of the rockpiles.

I've caught two smallies on LBJ over the years and have been told that LBJ held the state smallmouth record (6 1/2 pounds) back in the day.
