fished from 10:30 to 3:00. Causght a few on pumpkin wornm down to 47 ft.. Saw some pods of bait back in Sandy, but could not get the fish to take anything. they went to sleep about 2:00 - big blank.

I caught 7-8 and buddy caught 5 - only two keeps.

Similar for me. I fished 7:30 to 1:00, had early topwater bite in Sandy, and caught a few dragging a CR pumpkin lizard on a windy shoreline off the main lake. Only 1 keeper size. Burned about an hour looking for some new honey holes. Still trying to find them!

I had not fished up in Sandy for a couple of years or so. Sure looked different in the back end. thought we might find some stripers or whites - think we did with the bait pods, but no takers. finally trolled over them with deep diving chrome cranks and caught a couple of dink blacks. Strange day.
