Friend of mine just purchased a 2000 Skeeter Limited edition T185 (ZX185) with yamaha ZMax 150..With Tandem wheel trailer. Very well taken care of..Purchased it on Craigslist, three days ago.. He had never owned a bass boat and know how to use electronics and etc.

So I met him at JonesTown Ramp.....at 3pm. First spot, Long Hollow. First fish at 3:20pm on baby brushhog in 20 feet of water...Fishing sunny shoreline. Caught and released six bass from 12 to 18"...A few keepers..Fished mouth of Devils cove...Fished till 5pm...Rode around and taught him about when to use or not use jack plate and trim...Always fun teaching a youngster (26yrs) how to drive a nice bass boat....

Water Temp: 55.9 degrees
Water was clear to 4 feet.
Air Temp was 72 degrees
Winds were out of SE at 10mph Gusting to 25mph.
Light boat traffic. More big crusing boats near Devils Cove.

Nice that u help out yungsters however you should have spent time on Buch....

Pretty hard fishing atm with water temos in mid 40s.

Nice meeting you out there Ranger - I'm calling you when I get that new bass boat.

We caught 4 total - 1 keeper - all on flukes (pearl & watermelon red) in Long Hollow along the sunny side where we saw you.

The water temp is still only 56 degrees? It was 53-54 2 weeks ago at mid lake.  Did you guys look shallow?
