It's easy, it's just across from the boat ramp at Sandy Creek park.  You just have to either beat me there,  ;) and go on a night when someone isn't renting the place that cares whether or not you fish.  If they do care they will shut off the lights or otherwise be unkind.

You can check the schedule for the place online here: http://www.homeawayconnect.com/calendar.aspx?propertyid=70499  Just be aware that sometimes this calendar shows the place as available when it is occupied.  The person that thought of this place is a genius, and if I could afford the rates I'd rent it just to say thank you for leaving the lights on when the place is not rented!  You can see their pictures here: http://www.vrbo.com/60070

Don't worry too much about beating me there...  First, because I don't mind sharing (I'm the guy with the hacked Bayliner 175 that has a bow mounted trolling motor and a casting deck), and because I'm moving to San Antonio for a new job in a few more weeks, so although I am trying to take advantage of the closeness now, before long I will not be there often.

And FWIW, if anyone is looking for a nice house that is only about 15 minutes from Jones Brothers Park (in Leander), I *really* need to sell my house...  I might even sell my boat with it!  :-/

These reports are a trip! Thanks for sharing and good luck in San Antonio. Hang onto the boat and drag it down to Choke Canyon on the weekends.

I'd like to see an iPhone pic and report with a Gator on the boat deck!
