We went out to Gloster Bend for a few hours on Sunday and caught 10-12 small ones. Missed several others that had to be dinks. Almost felt like a perch bite. Water temps were around 70. Could the small front that blew through on Friday turned them off?

Just wondering if anyone else has fished that far up-lake recently.

It can, but from some of the reports I've read, it didn't seem to bother them to much. Some folks caught a lot of fish this past weekend. It's all about being in right place at the right time I guess.

I fished there Saturday and had a limit of keepers in 5 hours. The best was 4.5 lbs. Fished there again Sunday and the bite was slower. Started at 11:00 on Sat, and 12:00 on Sun. I've had better luck during bad weather days, even during the fronts. My opinion is the fishing is slower during the hot sunny days.
