Hi Daniel,
well don't give up. I think that you are suffering from the recent cold front, rising barometer, and bluebird skies. I'm told that you can catch fish when its like that but you just have adjust expectations (meaning don't expect to catch much).
Anyway, I have a story to tell about that area you fished. On Saturday my wife wanted to go out to eat at Blue Cafe for her birthday. I took the kids with us and off we went. When we got there it looked like a James Bond movie. There must have have been 20 or so cigarette boats all tied up and there was a huge party going on at Blue Cafe. :-[
The boats had loud music going and as they left they revved their above water exhausts to a deafening roar. After they left things got back to a peaceful level except for the west wind. I watched as a bass boat came up to the docks. Fat chance I thought. To my surpise he caught one of the largest blacks I'd seen on Travis.

I ran down there to ask him what he used. Senko wacky rigged. He was part of a tournament and that was his biggest catch of the day. Amazing that fish hung around all that noise, boats etc and then came out finally to be caught.
better luck next time. The joy is in the journey.
