Launched at private ramp at Point Venture at 6:30am. Light winds. Saw some schooling action in 100 foot of water. Some whites and some black bass...
Caught bass on topwater and crankbaits.
Once the sun was up, and clear skies at 10am, we tried our luck with Hell/Pet spoon and DD-22 /Pet Spoons.
Most fish were caught near sandy points and cliffs from 20 to 30 feet of water.
Review:
Water Temp was 87.4 degrees
Water was clear
Time we fished: 6:30 to 1:30pm
Outside temp started off at 78 degrees and warmed to near 100 when I got off water.
4 Largemount bass to 21" or 5-1/2lbs
1each Guadalupe Bass to 12"
1each Blue Catfish to 5lbs
2each White Bass to 15"
