Launched at noon from Mansfield dam. I ran to Devil's Cove and fished until 3:00PM Not anything going on so I ran to Cypress Creek. Fished the rock walls with watermelon red sticks rigged WW. Bites were erratic but I did manage to land 18 for the day, all LMB, Spots and Guads.
Queen of the ball was a cute 18 incher, but most were dinks. Will try again tomorrow and see what I can find.
Weather was cloudy to partly cloudy. When the sun was shining you had to find shade to find a bite. Most taken in 10 to 15 ft of water.
