Been awhile since I've posted a report.  ;D

My Dad, 4 friends, and I took kayaks out to LT yesterday to practice for the Cedar Park High School kayak fishing team. It was there first time kayak fishing, so they were excited.

Launched at Cypress Creek, which sucked because of the hike to get down there and how muddy it is.  ::)

Time: 6:30AM-1:30PM
Temperature: Chilly 52 degrees in the AM, warming up to 85 by 1PM.
H2O: 79.1 degrees, 4' visibility.

Started off fishing in Cypress for a bit without any bites, except my friend Kyle caught a catfish on a crankbait.  ;D

Moved out to mainlake and started flipping drop-shots to docks in deep water, caught 3-4 like that. I caught a catfish also on a jerkbait.

Kept on messing around in the boat slips and caught a few, but nothing of any size. My friend Ryan said he had a 4-5lber. wrap him up.  :p

Made a long paddle up to a cove in Cypress and began to throw a crankbait, and caught 2 back to back.

Only took 1 picture the whole time, nothing really worth taking pictures of, except my friend really wanted a picture of his Guadalupe I guess.  ;D

I think we caught around 20 fish yesterday, which was kinda bad considering how long we fished.

My Dad, Taylor, and I fished for an hour the night before and caught 28 fish in an hour.

Slow day of fishing, but fun. Got to fish some spots I've wanted to try, and graphed some good deep spots that held fish.

REGAN THAT IS AWSOME THAT YOUR HIGH SCHOOL HAS A FISHING TEAM :). AND SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD DAY ON THE LAKE BECAUSE YOU CAUGHT FISH.
