Fellowship Bass Club fished Lake Travis 6 - 2 on Saturday. The fishing was good for everyone. We had 11 boats with 21 fisherman. Nobody blanked and 8 caught their limit. My partner, Andrew, and I came up with a win. We had 10 fish for 17.33 lbs. We were both able to cull. I also had the big stringer with 10.09 lbs. Our best 5 would have gone closer to 12 lbs. I really enjoyed fishing with Andrew, he is ready and willing to learn. He has only been fishing for a year and bested lots of other experienced fisherman saturday. He also had a good fish hooked and nearly to the boat that looked to be around 4 lbs. The fish had a follower that was about the same size.

There were several other teams with 15 to 16+ lbs with 9 or 10 fish. Big Bass came in at 3.18 lbs. And there was one other over 3 lb fish and a few that came close.
The morning started out good. I caught a limit and culled by 7:45. The first couple of fish were caught on a Hags 5" tornado, the last two I had. I then picked up a 5" senko and caught a couple more. My biggest and one other were caught on a spinner bait. My partner caught all of his on a Big Bite stick bait.
With the George Cook Memorial coming this weekend I had better leave out the remaining details.

Very nice. I think that rain got the Fall kicked off. Better and better fishing to come. ;)
