[The Angling Channel]

TheAnglingChannel.com went out on Lake Travis with Jack Waldrop Jr. and is was a productive session. We caught around 7 fishing weighing 13 lbs or so. A real nice fish weighing 8 - 10 pounds got away, we did manage to catch a glimpse of it on video in slow motion. The water was clear so we got some good underwater footage. Also the Carp were spawning so we captured some interesting video of them against the shoreline.

Great video! Turn the camera's audio pre-amps down a bit and you'll get crisper sounding interview. What are you shooting with?

I use a Canon XL1s. The mics are wireless VHF and are not in stereo.

Checked the audio recording...It is not an audio signal auto gain problem. It is a distortion problem.....most likely severe clipping of the peaks and possibly due to a level/impedance mismatch.

I keep my levels normal when recording, but did increase the volume in post production on some of the audio tracks. Is what your talking about when he catches the first fish after the intro? I'm not sure, but it might be that I don't have the best mics.
