Tried to launch early but the morning storms slowed me a bit. Got i the water at Mansfield Dam at 7:30. Great morning on the lake, low wind, very little rain, lots of clouds.

Caught 21 on shaky head and wacky worm. Fished Cypress Creek area because of the threatening thunder storms. Thunder doesn't bother me so much but I really don't like the lightning.

There may have been five out of the lot that would go 14+ inches, the biggest maybe 16 inches. Lots of fun though.

Off the water at 2:30.

You would think with all the baby bass in the lake, one of their mom's would show up occasionally. Still Look'in.

Was out as well with 2 boats. Caught 21 between us for half a day, 7-12, not bad. Also caught 3-4 hand-sized sunperch, a few guads, and a 4.5lb striper. Biggest LM bass landed was 3lbs and one of my clients had one on around 7lbs but it jumped just before I got it in the net. Oh well. Nice to see that fatty though. Big ole belly too. Most fish caught on crankbaits, flukes and shaky heads. Had a few blowups on a frog but no hookups. Fun day.
