This week on Bastrop has been a strange one. The Bass have been schooling if the Sun stays out but if it goes behind some clouds thay go down and do not school. Top water baits in clear color are good and small swim baits are also catching fish. The fish start around 8am and have been schooling till 3 or 4 pm. The numbers have been around 100 fish in the boat in a half day trip. Give me a call if you would like to go and catch a boat full. The average fish is about two pounds with a three pound fish here and there.
