As a graduation present, my family and a friend of mine went on vacation to florida. And of course since we're a family of fisherman, we got a guide on lake Okeechobee-- captain mike shellen.

We got on the water about 6 am, it was about 70 degrees with clouds blocking the sun from fully rising. We were throwing plastics and shiners. Everything was caught on shiners.

First fish I caught was a 7.5 pound beauty in about 6 FOW. This set the tone for the next 20 fish I caught in the next five hours. The average fish was probably a good 3 pound chunk. I'm not great at posting reports so I'll just include some pictures to look at.

Overall it was a fantastic day, the lake is beautiful (and HUGE) and between my dad, friend, and myself we caught about 60 bass and 3 catfish.
