I new to abf, and see alot of great reports on here. I just bought a boat and was wanting to know if anybody fishes Granger. Since I live almost in Hutto, it's not that far, really just looking to see if it's a good lake or not, maybe the best launch to drop from. Thanks.

Probably find most information on Granger in the Crappie and White bass sections. I hear it isn't that great for LMB. The texasfishingforum.com site has alot of info about Granger in their Crappie section.

You're also close to Georgetown. There are some good fish in Lake Georgetown . I hear granger is good for cats, crappie and whites. 8)

I used to crappie fish Lake Granger until about 2 years ago from my small Pelican boat w/ a 38 lb thrust trolling motor only, and would launch from Fox Park and go to the right towards the dam. Right before you get to the point, there was a brush pile out about 25 yards from the bank. I would find it each time and put out my anchor and fish with minnows and catch crappie continously until I ran out of minnows. Usually about 25-35 crappie. It was a blast. Then I found bass fishing on Lake Georgetown and haven't been back.
