Got on the water around 6PM from Cedar Breaks boat ramp. Headed straight for the dam. A few bites and one large perch. That's it. The water must be down about 15 feet at least. These photos show how low. The water is usually to the bottom of the tree to the right of the intake pipes. Wind picked up about 8PM and got off the water right at dark.

I was out there this evening as well. Where did that wind come from!? I planned on being out until midnight or so, but decided I will try again tomorrow night instead (hopefully).
Report: The water was boilin' with whites all around me. I was able to pick up a few, but overall they were a little finicky. I only managed three largemouth (one under, and two in the slot).

Normal Lake Georgetown Level is 791...

However, today it is 776.97

OR

14.03 feet LOW!

CLOSED AREAS!
Lake Georgetown – Russell Park swim beach, the lower loop of the day use area, and Group Shelters 4 and 5 are closed due to low water conditions. All other facilities are open at present; however, visitors should exercise caution when entering or in the water due to the low lake levels. Boaters should be on the lookout for visitors in the water and maintain a safe distance.

Gonna try Lake Georgetown again this afternoon (Tuesday) after work, but from Jim Hogg Park side and work the deeper water at the cliffs. Hope to have some good photos to post. With the front coming in maybe it will change the fishing bite.

Got home about 4:30PM and checked the weather. Expected rain and high winds before dark. Oh well, decided to stay home and not chance it. Went outside about 7PM to wash the boat and put it up, the weather was perfect...overcast but bright, NO WIND, cooler....What the heck was the weatherman looking at on his radar? Here it is 10:15PM and still no wind or rain. They missed it again. Glad I don't make that many mistakes in my job. Would have been fired long time ago. Oh well, through venting. Goodnight...hahaha
