I caught 12 between 16in and 19in. It seems the slot on the lake is doing good for getting some larger fish in the lake.
On the water by 6am. The air temp was 85 degrees at 6am.
Water temp was anywhere from 86 to 88.
Started off with Pop-R and shallow diving crank by the swim area. I picked up 3 nice fish pretty quick. Then started working around further up the lake and caught 2 more on 8ft diving crank bait. Switched over to a Rattlesnake on shakey head and worked most of the points and bolder out croppings to pick up the rest. I lost one really good fish. One of those that is too big to get out of the water when they jump. As soon as I set the hook the fish ran instantly to the middle of the lake ripping off drag. When she finally came up, she shook her head and my rattlesnake went flying. :'( She would have went 6lbs easy.
Off the water by 10:15 when it was already 95 degrees.
Man it is fricken hot with little to no breeze.
