Stayed close to home today and fished Georgetown from 7am to 1:30 pm.  Water temp. was 65 -66 in the upper end and 64 -65 in the lower end.  It sure is nice to see the lake with that much water in it again.  Very clear water in the lower end; could see 15 to 20ft. deep.

Had a consistent fluke bite (6- 8 f.o.w.)), especially when it was cloudy.  Once the sun came out it got a little tougher.  All fish were Georgetown specials, lol.  Thought I had a big one on at one point but it had managed to wrap it self around some branches and had fooled me good.  Best 5 ~ 3.5 - 4lbs.

Tried a little bit of everything today, but they only wanted my flukes.

Didn't have white ice in the tackle box; probably need to get some of those.  Watermelon candy...

we went out there sunday for about 3 hours probably caught 8 to 10 all small with one slot all on texas rigged plastics

Put a shiner 4 feet under a bobber, the LM bass are hitting good. A buddy caught one 5 feet from shore, 6lb near the damn. Also biting on watermelon worms.
