On the water around 7am till 3pm. Started fishing north end in 57 degree water. Caught three 2-3lb LMB on cranks before 11:00am and a couple of dinks. After 11:00am the wind made much of the lake hard to fish. Where we did find calm enough water to fish, we still managed to pull about 25 fish total, but the rest of the day all the fish were under 1lb or under on DS. Warmest water we found was still only 58.2
One thing I still don't understand is why there are not any fishing holding off of the trees in the back of any of the coves?
Considering the conditions of post cold front, wind, and the first time fishing the lake, it was a really good day.
