First, thankyou, Charles, for inviting me to post here! Be sure to post on SouthTexasFishing.net and CentralTexasKayakers your events!

I am the trail director for the new Ultimate Kayak Trail. We are holding a series of bass tournaments on Lake Fayette, Lake Conroe, and on the famous Falcon Lake. The angler of the year will go home with a Wilderness System Tarpon 140 kayak, provided by Austin Canoe & Kayak at the last event, which is in planning stages, but it will be a special event on Town Lake.

May 6th (Saturday) is the Lake Fayette tournament. It is open to all kayakers, canoes and most human powered boats. No motors of any kind are allowed in these tournaments. After the tournament, the event continues at Rocky Hill Ranch in Smithville with sponsor/vendors, raffles, door prizes, silent auctions and live music by The Jam Project-a group of top musicians that move in and out of the band creating the "jam project". Prizes include a BillyStix spiralstix custom made for The Ultimate Kayak Trail (1st place winner gets one and one is being auctioned) and a Wilderness System Tarpon 120 (also auctioned silently and secretly so you can bid in secrecy online if you can't make the event).

This event benefits CASA of Bastrop, and they will be on hand at the after tournament event and providing judges for the tournament.

Online registration is available at our website at http://www.ultimatekayaktrail.com, as is all the rest of the information.

Ya'll come on down! Even if you can't fish the tournament for cash and prizes, come on out to The Rocky Hill Ranch blowout and concert-admission to the Rocky Hill event is FREE!
