Launched under I35 at 645am this morning and headed east towards the lower end. Found a nice bend on the south shore near the submerged stumps with fish in 6-10 FOW. We caught 10 total with a few 2-2.5lbers. All were caught on finesse worms. I tried cranks, a jig, larger worms, and even a road runner on an ultralight for bluegill with no takers. We got off the water around 1130am.

You can always get bit on watermelon/red rattlesnakes, but I have pretty good luck with zoom finesse worms in green pumkin. I haven't tried black, but now i will ;)

Thanks for the report! Glad you got on some fish.

A couple questions if you don't mind.... Were you using the 5" or 7" finesse worms?

Never been to Dunlap but thinking about dropping my Sevylor Colorado in there for fun - any recommended spots to paddle to? Budget has me trying to get into the whole small craft movement.

Thanks again.
