Is there any suggestion for fishing Lake Belton? Has anyone heard anythig about it lately? :-?

There is a post under Tips/Techniques with some info on Belton. I haven't been in awhile, so I can't help you out. Been 6-7 months.  ;D

BTW- Might not get any replies due to Tuffman coming up.

Went out today...caught one on a spinner...nothing big...went out couple days ago also....Belton is tough right now... :-/ Might have to go down to Lake Austin and try some of them dinks they just stocked with....

If I were to m a key 3 Belton lake suggestions they would be:
1. If it looks like a good spot, don't even try it.
2. Fish for hybrids.
3. Fish ANY other lake than Belton.

Belton is a beautiful lake. I fished a few tournaments on Belton and have yet to catch a limit.

One tip. Occasional stop your bait. The fish like to chase it back to the boat.

Gester has the best approach. Fish elsewhere.
