I went to Lake Bastrop Sunday morning.  Headed out to the discharge around 7am and caught a few.  But the bit was slow.  I did end up catching a 2 pounder.  I know it is sad but, it is my best fish so far on Lake Bastrop.

It was a fun time for sure. I have never seen such a huge head on a 1.5 lb fish before. Pic didnt do it justice.
Dustin sure got excitied whwn he caught his first worm fish. It was great to watch for sure.

Congrats on the fish yella! I know how you feel. I caught my first worm fish back late last year and now I'm a total mess who spends half my time day-dreaming about fishing. This is a crazy addiction...so be careful!

Oh I know that feeling for sure... I am having a hard time staying focused here at work, cause all i think about is when can I go fishing again.

i was out there sunday from 3:00 till 7:00 pm it was tuff only caught 5 all under 2 pounds :-[

Fishing was tough on Bastrop sunday for sure. We did manage to find a cove holding fish and managed to put a few in the boat though.

Also saw a couple of jet ski's that were buzzing a couple of fisherman. Personally I put on a heavy crankbait with longrange castability and if there in range sorry about their luck. Hooked one once. Boy was he pissed . Helps being 6'5 and 250lbs got beligerent till I stood up in the boat I was fishing in and asked just how froggy was he feeling. Next time give room to a fisherman. Bet he has thought twicw before buzzing a fishing boat. LMAO
