Joe and I launched at 6:30am this Friday morning, Started out at In-take. I caught a 18" bass on clear torpedo...I missed several big hits on white buzz bait. Moved back towards dam when we noticed schooling activity at 7:45am. The schools did not stay up very long, but they were in a wide coverage area. From North shore to close to south shore point. I used clear torpedo to catch the schoolies. Other fishermen were using small rattletraps and the Launcher to catch schoolies.
The water temp near the dam was 95.3 degrees. There were at least 10 boats chasing schoolies.
At 8am, it was already getting hot...Plenty of water !
