Fished Bastrop this morning with my dad from 6:30 - 11:00. Water temps 90-94. Fished main lake points and grass from 8-15 feet of water. Caught 12 fish all together with two 5 pounders and several threes mixed in.. All fish were caught on Texas rigged watermelon red rattlesnakes. All in all it was pretty decent morning... The fish must have been schooling pretty good in the corner of the dam .. at one point we counted 19 boats in that one spot..

Thanks for the report, it can get crowded around the schoolies.

I counted 23 including me at one point. Those schoolies are tough to catch though. You would think you would snag more than you actually caught. I was catching them on an ultralight, that made it fun when you finally got a hookup.
