Entry is $30.00 per team (individual or 2 anglers), $25.00 goes into the main pot and $5.00 into a Big Bass side pot.

Please keep in mind we require a 14" minimum length for all fish and we do not weigh dead fish.  
 
1-5 boats pays one place (100%*)
6-14 boats pays two places (60%*/40%)
15+ boats pays three places (50%*/30%/20%)

*As an additional incentive Gary Brownell and Preferred Personal Insurance Agency will contribute $50.00 of contingency money to the winner if insured through PPI!

It's been a great year guys and we'd like to thank everyone that came out to fish and support these jackpots.

jjam, been in that situation before and here is what I did:

Go out and get wasted but don't go to bed...that's the last thing you want to do. Stay up all night and have yourself a six pack and a couple good bloody marys before you launch and that should get you to weigh in.  Weigh your sack of bricks, take home some money and then sleep for a day. Of course it also helps if your partner is on the same schedule, right Terry?

All I can say is the "team building" event the night before is the single most important aspect of competitive fishing. 8)

Everyone keep those ideas on hold for just a little while.  There may be a chance that we may just hit the County Line or Hula Hut afterwards.  That way no one has to cook and all that jazz.  No decisions have been made yet.  I just wanted let everyone know to remain flexible and not get to excited or committed to any particular plans just yet.

Charlie or one of the Tournament directors will post up the exact plan next week.  Right now they're focusing on the TOZ grudge and will finalize the ABF finale when thats done.

Man, a pig roast would be awesome...  We'll see what happens.

Thanks for everyones support and excitement about the Finale.  I'm really looking forward to seeing alot of the ABF gang there.

One question for the ABF bank anglers out there.
I want to involve you guys in the ABF year end finale and wondered if you'd be interested in fishing a City Park Big Bass Tournament that conicides with the regular tourney?  The basic premise would be that:

-we'd fish the banks of CP after the boats depart.
-a little jackpot for biggest bass caught, weighed and released. (say $10 bucks entry fee)
- I'd set up a weigh station and you could weigh fish all day until an established cut off time just before the boats come in.
- Biggest bass weighed wins the pot.
-All entrants would be put in a raffle for a 4 hour fishing trip with Rude.

If There is enough interest (say 10 or more of you) then I'll run it.   Post up and / or PM me if you guys are interested.

Really looking forward to seeing all of ABF at the finale!

As Rude mentioned the plans will be finalized after the Grudge. Just wanted to get the word out so you guys/gals could start marking your calendars. Hope everyone that can make it comes out.

Unfortunately I will be out of town for this one...I begged and pleaded to the tournament directors to consider changing the date with no avail. I mean what's a finale without Yellow Kong stumbling around weigh in offering libations while making my usual sordid comments
