I hit Lake Austin Sunday (as many of y'all did). Water was still very clear in most places (10+ft of visibility!). Water temps ranged from 53 all the way up to some 62 deg water late in the afternoon way back in a cove. I didn't see any fish in the shallows at all, but did see a ton of bait fish and even what looked to be some two week old fry (guess some fish spawned way early in cold water!). The weather started out cool, rainy, and foggy, but the sun came out by 10-11 and warmed quickly. I caught 4-5 fish total with 3 keepers for 9.26 lbs, with my biggest at 5.6lbs and finished 3rd in the ATX tournament. Michael Waldrop was able to nail 3 quality keepers as well for around 17lbs, and Ander (aka StrictlyBiznuss) whacked 3 for around 15lbs, including a huge 11+ lb fish! Here is a pic of Ander with his fish:

Thanks for posting the photo here, Dan, and doing the bragging for me. I didn't want to do it on my own. Ha! ;) Official weight, as I recall, was 11.34 pounds. One of these days I'll get a Share-a-lunker. Like was mentioned, I also want one of those...REAL bad.

Ha, that's funny that it was the same weight. I find it highly unlikely that it was the same fish though. I have a hard time believing that a fish weighing 11.34lbs now, weighed the EXACT same weight two years ago. Highly unlikely...but kind of a cool coincidence.
