Lake: Lake Austin 360 Bridge
Date:  01/22   Time: 2:30 – 5pm
Weather: Clear Sunny 62 degrees Windy
Water Conditions: visibility 2-3 ft
Lures used: Fire tiger Rapala D10ft
Bass Count: 1

Launched my kayak today from 360 Bridge and headed to the cove and water was murky in some parts; the lake has gone down quite a lot from last week.  Had no luck in the cove, then I started to fish parallel to the rocks to the bridge and hook on a nice bass, 3.6lbs.  It felt a whole lot bigger as I was reeling this fighter in. It was the only fish I caught for 2 ½ hrs out on the lake. There were at least a dozen boats and kayaks out there as well, don’t know how they did, but I am sure some will post later about their day.

Yeah thanks for the report. Just bought new battery for my 2-man to do the drawdown...wow, almost $90 even w/old battery core charge credit! Anyway, anybody put in at the upper end of city park? Wondering if it's muddy or if it wouldn't be too bad getting a 2-man bassbuster near the shore with a 4wd.
