well i don't know much about lake austin or where to fish but gave it a shot anyway. Fished from about 7:30 to 11:00 and only hooked up with 3 lmb's and lost one bending down to grab it. They were two 1 1/2 and a 2 1/2. Two were t rigged and one wacky using grande rattle snakes in watermelon seed color. Any tips for next time i head out would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the report. Sounds like you did ok. 3 fish in 3 hrs on LA can be pretty normal most times. Keep going and you'll hook a big one soon.

The baits you're using should catch fish next trip, they always work for me on LA or LBL.
Just keep fishing LA, like Lunker-Hunter said, you'll hook a big one eventually!
