I went out to Lake Austin today. We arrived to City Park about 9:30 and started up lake. The temp started in the upper 50's and dropped almost 20 degrees with the cold front that hit about 10:30. I caught 5 fish between 3.5 and 5 lbs and my friend had one fish for about 5 lbs. We had 21-22 lbs for the best 5. 
We caught a lot of under size fish. Sorry I didn't remember to bring my camera. :'(
I noticed that compared to the pictures from Saturday 1/19 the water has gone down a lot. I'd say at least 2-3 feet.
Also, we could not get bit on shad we used dark baits, orange or red.
