The weather was warm and I had couple of hours so I headed down to the Austin High Ramp. I was not the only one, tons of SUPs were also launching. Sometimes, I think about fishing other bodies of water were some of you are very successful. However, on days like today the views make me glad I am on the this lake. Launched at 4pm, water lightly stained, light breeze and water temp 79 deg. Launched and headed east on the North bank. Careful readers, might ask, "he usually starts on the South bank and gets blanked, why the change". I tried something new, going to an area that has worked. It paid off, landed 4 cutie pies and one keeper (see pic) all on drop shot Aarons Morning dawn robo worm I found on an overhang a few weeks ago. One more threw the hook. Had some nibbles on TR BBH and ned rig, but not able to land any of those. No action on Red Eye Shad lipless. Based on the board reports, tying on a vibrating jig this weekend. Off at 6:15 pm
