fished with a friend that is a beginner on Bass fishing. Fished Wacky, T - Rig and cranks. 7:40 AM to 2:00 - Three fish - largest about 4 Lbs. upper end. Slow bite no pattern. Looks like Alan did better in the evening.

I heard that. I can't ever find a pattern either. I just fish hard and hope for the best.

But thanks for the post. Every report that people put on here helps others find a few fish. Because on this lake, a person can flat burn up some fuel running back and forth looking for a bite. So any shared info is better than none at all.

Hey MF, what did you guys catch most of your fish on, plastic, top water or cranks?

I have to admit I spent the beginning of the day trying to instruct the guy with me on how to fish a worm (wacky) in the grass and outside - doing this I managed to miss 3 fish. Caught 1 on wacky - 2 on wat. red zoom big ring tail - none on cranks. the big rinng tail has been a good producer on Austin - would not fish it on Travis - there I stick to the small zoom finess pumpkin most of the time cause it works great.

There just was no pattern - grass - stick ups - boulders - lay downs - moss - no pattern .
But that is the LA I have known for about 10 years now. Have to admit I have not fished the usual trip every week or 2 weeks that I used to for years. That does help.
