Caught 2 small keepers, each about 1 1/2 lbs., across from clock dock along the reeds late morning on a wacky rigged watermelon red flake Senko. Moved down lake to the house that is for sale next to the creek that has the double enclosed wood dock off the main lake (sorry don't have any better way to describe this one) and caught 2 more keepers on the same wacky rigs in about 6 feet of water right around lunch time. Saw a couple big bass next to the dock that wanted nothing to do with us also. Water was around 82 degrees at that time. First time out fishing on LA, first time ever catching a fish in Texas, and first time ever taking the wife fishing, so thought it was an overall productive day!

Is there a clock on it or something? Why "clock dock", sorry still new to LA. Thanks for the reply.

So its in between Quinlan and Commons Ford? Is it that round spiral dock on the East bank?

Yes. Clock dock is in reference to the large clock in the middle of one its towers, on the east bank. Keeping Austin anglers informed of how much time they have left before turn-in since 1997 (I made that up. I have no idea when it was constructed). It's not the Spiral Dock. That's north of Quinlan.
