David (Moonraker) and I have been talking about hitting up LA for some night fishing. We wanted to fish the full moon but a front is moving in quickly for Wednesday. We took our chances and went last night. It was sloooooowwwwwww. We were T riggin in the grass and just fishing slow. Dave's girlfriend Gabby broke one off about 10 minutes into our trip. We did not get another bite until about 11:00. I apologize to anyone that lives near Quinlan that might have been sleeping because I yelled so loud. This is the best fish I have caught in years. 7.5lbs 22.5" long with a 16.5" girth.

I woke up to the beeping at 3am....was going to call him and thought.....well I got to see a picture!

Nice piggy.  I haven't figured out the north end of LA yet, but I guess I will just keep at it.  99% of my fish on LA have come from the bluffs north of City Park south to Hula Hut.  Anything north of CP kicks my butt.  I guess I just need to keep on trying.
