Started at Lake Austin this morning.

0900 to 1400
Very stained south of 360
Temp - 67-71

Fished windblown pockets and mouth of coves.  Caught one 13" right away with the wind blowing.  There was alot of shad everywhere in the pockets.  Lost a > 5Lbs right at the boat.  She shook that little crankbait right off.  Always invest in larger trebles hooks for those crankbaits.  I am constantly reminded why the Pros spend the money for the little things that catch the fish.

Spent a little time up north...mostly drove around.  The weather is so awesome.

Got home and rested a bit..Cook something on the grill and then proceeded to fish my home lake...LT

LT
1730-2000
Water Temp 80-81
Midlake to Lago
Wind - SE 10

There was nice breeze from the SE, so I focused on wind blown points and 10' flats nearby.  Caught about 15 LM and my keepers were 1.5, 1.8, 1.8, and 2.1.  Didn't get that last keeper.  I was worn out at 2000.  I even caught a catfish in the mix.  All fish caught on a red eye shad.  There were a few schoolies.  In one cast I caught two LM.  Pretty cool for Travis.

It was a fun day.  I love the fall...Hopefully will hit it again tomorrow evening.
