Hit LA this morning with fishbone. Launched at 360 and fished from 6:45am to around 2pm. Saw some schooling action just below City Park early and caught several on top waters and TR plastics. These were mostly smaller fish. Later we had a fairly consistent bite fishing shaded areas along the bluffs and caught quite a few on TR baby Rattlesnakes and Tiki Sticks. It was another good day for numbers but not for big fish. I lost count of the number of dinks we caught but we finished the day with nearly 30 fish between us. Tight lines,

Lake Austin has been a dink-fest lately. It's been about 4 trips since I caught any over 3# out there

Hopefully it will turn around soon.

I was out this evening from 6:30 to 8:30 and only had two bites........the first bite was the first cast again on a 3:16 Wake Jr. The second bite was a swing and a miss.

Nice fish Alan, congrats on another good one! Are you catching these big girls deep? I tried fishing deeper water today hoping to catch some bigger fish but had no luck as usual.

JT- Had another good trip. It's still fun to whack a bunch of fish even if they're not big ones. Maybe we'll get on them next time.

Wow, you are really hittin em Alan! I sure wish I could be a fly on your boat I'm going out this afternoon from Noon to 4p. I'm going to try and pull a big one out, but you only shatter my confidence with these daily hawg postings :-/
