My brother and I hit Lake Austin today out of Quinlan in the jonboat. Not sure what the water temp was, but it felt pretty chilly. We landed about 7 bass with 3 keepers, this one was the biggest and came off of a bed. We actually caught this one twice. Once on the way out, and again on the way back. It was weird bed fishing in late July, but this one was locked on. All were caught on creature baits and hula grubs.
