Hadn't sniffed this lake in 5 months but we had to get it out of our system. Besides, thermals off the water are cooler than Bastrop.

Launched at 10p and off at 6a. We boated 7, nothing big but all were 14"+. Woohoo! Deep docks and larger plastics seemed to work.

Strange night, though.

Only two boats loading at 360 and zip launching at 10p on a holiday weekend. One trailer on the parking lot.
Only saw one other boat on the water all night.
Heard no fireworks.
Heard no dogs.
Heard no partying.
Heard no fish splashes.
Heard no frogs.
Heard no crickets.
Heard no bongos.

Eerie.

Tftr. That's good work for la all things considered. I have been thinking the exact same thing and LCRA is midway through a 200k acre feet draining of lake Travis. It's probably safe to say the zebra mussels are all the way from here to maddy. I wonder if they like rice?

Did you happen to get any water temp readings north of quinland or beyond?

Nice report - sounds like a pretty standard night on LA - I'll be out there tonight bowfishing but I'll stop at a few trusted spots to see about the bite. Hopefully will have a report to share.
