Fished LA from 7 am to 3pm, had a good bite early up from the 360 ramp on a variety of white CB's. Ended up with 5 fish between 2-4lbs. Lost one at the boat on a jerkbait which seemed to be a little bigger than the rest. Wind picked up in the afternoon and the bite ended.

On our way back in to 360 ramp we came across an area with what seemed to be electrical, high voltage, tubes going into the water? Our electronics went crazy showing tons of fish holding on what looked like a hump just about 25ft from the shore. Has anyone fished this before. We were on our way in so didn't spend too much time there and could not pull any fish in.

A day late with the pictures, but this was my son's fish, and my daughter's fish, they had a great time, in fact he caught more fish than dad!

P.S. Dont laugh at his hair we are 2 months into dreadlocks, it takes a while before they look anything like they should!

Shamgar, welcome to ABF. Nice pictures. Glad you had a good time on LA and that your kiddos caught some fish.

The place you are describing sounds like the large tubes across from City Park (aka: Emma Long Park). These tubes about are about 100 yards upstream from a vacant lake side restraunt building (white with blue trim)with some boat slips and a small fuel dock which used to be "The Pier".

Does this sound right to you? If so then yes, fish have been caught along that stretch of lake.
