Got out for a little while yesterday after work. Fished from 5-dark. Had four nice keepers and missed an absolute monster that threw up a huge boil but missed my tw completely (or maybe it was I who missed that dear thing...). Big one went "22 1/2. Mostly stuck around the downlake region. Last fish came off a main lake flat that has a bit of grass on it. Thought I'd whack them pretty good since when that flat gives up a fish, a few more are usually sure to follow, but no, that was gonna be it. A satisfying time nonetheless.
