Didn't get on the water till about 10am and was just really doing some scouting for wed.. It was tough with the wind but I did find one locked on a bed that looked like a watermelon with a tail. This was the thickest bass I'd ever seen had to be a double digit. After pitching the senko at her a couple times she sucked it in and spit it out quicker than I could set. Decided to leave her alone and hope she still will be there on wed. I only fished a couple spots and didn't catch any.Did notice the water temp dropped down to 56 main lake areas 58 in some creeks. Interested to see whats going to come in on Wed with the water temp drop. Got off the water about 2:30 or so, didn't feel like fighting the wind. Only saw a few  bass boats out today.

You should've stuck her, could have been your one chance.

To try and save her till Wed..for a Wed. nighter???  :-?
She went under the dock and didn't come out for a while so I decided to wait and try a different approach on Wed. That fish could be worth some money and possibly that Power Tackle rod if caught on the right day. ;)

I'm just saying, if I saw the "thickest" bass I've ever seen and it hit my bait and I had only pitched on it a few times..you know that fish is catchable, why leave? The wind will only help you catch her unless you were on main lake and couldn't hold the boat.
I have caught a few bed fish in my time, if I was out the day before a big derby and I rolled across a beast I would've left her alone. But to leave her for 3 days and keep your fingers crossed on a lake that a lot of guys do bed fishing at I would fish for her. Hoping that she sticks around for 3 days with the crazy weather they have out there and hope no one else finds her...
I'm sure if you threw a different bait like a big tube or big creature bait she would have came back out to play. I can't wait to hear if it pays off or not?

Did her back look about this size?

The biggest bass I've caught was right at 8lb on Falcon, and this fish was alot bigger. I don't think it was as big as that fish in the cooler, that thing looks 12+. I would guess it around 10. I'am not much of a sight fisher, I stumbled across this one in close quarters and I think I may have spooked it. I'll probably regret not sitting her out and trying more but hopefully I'll get another shot at her. If not there's plenty more of those in that lake.

Yeah BlueSkeeter, we were one of the few bass boats on the water. It was the last day my brother would be in town from Missouri, so we gave it a shot.
Pulled into 360 parking lot around 11:00, only 1 boat trailer in the lot. Only saw 1 pleasure boat and 3 bass boats on the water all day.

I'm sure we saw you heading back downstream that afternoon. We were in the white basscat, fishing a (wind) drift pattern, dragging lizards right down the middle of the lake. Any other day we would have been run over, by wake boats, but we found a big flat and started throwing lizards through the grass. Ending up with 8 keepers, fat fish for sure, nothing over 4lbs. Couldn't believe we got that lucky that day.

Good luck on getting that big one!
