Made a quick trip to LA this morning. Fished from 7:00-11:00 am and caught 6 total, including 3 keepers in the 2-4 lb range. There was some schooling activity early and I caught the first keeper on a Crazy Shad. I love catching schooling fish on top water! The schooling died down as the wind picked up and I caught the rest on TR worms and rattlesnakes, mostly shallow in 4-6 ft. Water temp was 66-69 deg. Fished the lower lake from Tom Miller dam to the 360 bridge. Not a bad morning, would like to have stayed longer but a short trip is better than no trip!
