Hit LA with fishbone today. Fished from 7:30am to 2:00pm. Had a very good day on the water, best ever on LA in terms of numbers. We both caught limits of keepers and had about 30 fish total, best five probably around 18lbs. Fished bluffs, docks, creek channels and reed lines, mostly on the lower part of the lake below the 360 bridge, with Tx rig plastics and crawfish colored crankbaits. Most fish were caught in 4-15ft of water. Water temp ranged from 69-73deg. Fishbone even caught 3 keeper size white bass on a CB and I caught a huge perch on a worm. The bite was fast and very consistent up until about noon, then slowed a bit. They were still biting when we left at 2pm.

Sweet! Maybe I should get out and wet a line. LA is just so testy to me.
I know what you mean! I used to get so frustrated fishing LA that I nearly gave it up entirely several years ago. I still get skunked there more than just about anywhere else, but take it in stride because I know there will be more good days to come. ;D

Nice day on the water guys. Congrats. LA can be on fire one week or one day and kick you in balls the very next day.

I think I blew my wad on LA for the year that one special day in Feb. I've struggled to get anything above 5 lbs since and had some tough days too.
