Tom and I hit Lake Austin this evening from 6:30p to 10p.   We got one bite.  She bit midlake at 9:15p in 6 fow on a wacky rigged senko.   Unfortunately I left my scale at the house.  I knew she wasn't 10lbs so I just got her back in the water.  Otherwise, I would've needed to find a scale.  Sure would be nice if I could catch one of these on 3/17 or later.   See y'all out there.  Cary

Missed it with the net the first time around as she was going under the boat hard, then got it in there on the second. It was fierce. You could have put a football in her mouth.

No length either Robert.  She was relatively short for her girth though.  I'm hoping tpwd takes care of the weight and measurements next time  ;D

Looks like the big ones were biting on Saturday. Just read that someone caught a lunker on Saturday morning from LA! Wow, wish that was me. Sure was a beauty. Just saw it on ttz1.com
