We took out my sisters oldest girl for her first time in a boat and first time fishing. She landed this bass on live bait in about 5 feet of water. It ended up being the biggest fish of the day. The bit was slow, I only managed to snatch one LMB dink in 8 feet of water on a t-rig, no ther fish were caught by any of us. This was only my second time on LA.

Congrats on her HYBRID BASS catch...I have yet to catch a hybrid bass on Lake Austin...

They sure do grow up fast!! It was great to see her land one. She didn't want to touch the fish though. She said it was slimey.

I was kind of clueless on were to fish on LA. This was only or 2nd time out there and the trolling motor battery died early in the day. We spent most of the time near Commons Ford, since that's were we picked up the kids to give them a ride around. We also went across from City Park on the boat docks.
